About Us
Science, Field Experience, and Wildlife Expertise
Who We Are
Randel Wildlife Consulting, Inc. provides professional wildlife and biological consulting services grounded in science, field experience, and a thorough understanding of wildlife ecology. Our work helps clients understand biological resources, evaluate potential environmental constraints, and make informed decisions where development, infrastructure, research, and wildlife conservation intersect.
Led by Certified Wildlife Biologist® Charles J. Randel, Randel Wildlife Consulting brings together applied wildlife research and practical field experience. Our work encompasses biological assessments, wildlife and sensitive-species surveys, wildlife monitoring, ecological studies, and regulatory and environmental support.
Our Approach
Our approach is straightforward: good decisions begin with good biological information. We combine careful field investigation with established scientific methods, relevant regulatory requirements, and an understanding of the biological systems being evaluated. The result is clear, technically sound information that can support project planning, environmental review, resource management, and conservation.
Experience and Expertise
Our experience extends from focused species investigations to broader ecological studies and long-term monitoring. Randel Wildlife Consulting has contributed to research and technical work involving species and habitats across the western United States, including studies of desert kit fox, Mohave ground squirrel, and other wildlife. Our work has also been published in professional scientific journals and incorporated into technical and environmental planning documents.
We believe effective wildlife consulting requires more than identifying species in the field. It requires understanding how wildlife, habitat, regulatory requirements, and project objectives interact. We work to provide clients with reliable biological information and practical recommendations that can move projects forward while appropriately addressing wildlife and ecological resources.
Whether the need is a biological assessment, a focused sensitive-species survey, wildlife monitoring, ecological research, or technical support for environmental review, Randel Wildlife Consulting approaches each assignment with the same commitment to scientific integrity, careful fieldwork, and professional service.
